The Iloilo City Government reviewed a sum of 1,418 boarding houses, condos, and residences in the city from February 1 to May 31, 2023.
The Joint Inspection Team (JIT), made out of delegates from Boarding House Commission (BHC), Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO), City Treasurer’s Office (CTO), City Health Office (CHO), City Engineer’s Office (CEO), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), and City Tourism and Development Office (CTDO), sent 17 inspectors to direct everyday visual assessments in business foundations, including lodgings.
Per area, exactly 357 boarding houses in La Paz, 287 in Mandurriao, 283 in Jaro, 183 in City Proper, 113 in Arevalo, 100 in Lapuz, and 95 in Molo, went through review.
Of which, 782 have licenses to operate while 632 have none yet are on the method involved with agreeing.
